Christmas, Christmas, Christmas

Posted on November 16, 2007. Filed under: Complaints/Gripes/Whines, Holidays |

I love the holidays – I really do.  But seriously, tonight while on the road, several radio stations were already playing holiday music.  Really – can we get through turkey day first before diving into holiday music?  I can’t get into the holiday spirit in mid-November.  I just can’t.  Now once December 1 rolls around, I’ll proceed to Christmas myself out like I always do watching endless amounts of those old Rankin/Bass claymation cartoons like Rudolph and The Year Without A Santa Claus and the Grinch of course.  But not yet people.  Christmas isn’t until December so no more holiday music until then.

I’m probably feeling doubly hostile about this right now b/c Obi-Wan won’t be here for Christmas.  He won’t be here to hang lights or anything and I’ll miss that.  So it really makes it hard to hear holiday music right now.

Catch me on December 1 though and I’ll be wearing my Santa hat.  :)

DH and I thought the exact same thing driving down to his uncle’s for thanksgiving! It’s all over the radio!

…I’m still just thinking about putting away the fall decorations….
